Little Box House (Mailbox Frog) By Liz Nash
There’s a frog livin’ in my mailbox. His head peeks out when it rains. I’m so happy, happy, happy, there’s light in his eyes. He’s an empath embracing change.
I look out from my little box house watch the storm on the lake. hear him sing through the thunder and lighting And it makes me think It makes me think
I can’t stop the storm storming But I could sing through the rain I can’t stop the storm storming But I could sing— through the rain I think I’ll be OK.
The morning sun has finally come I’ve got a cookie cutter coffee mug cozy home. The scent of “easy day” is brewin’ on. Yeah, I’m gonna be OK.
I look out from my little box house Watch the light shimmer on the lake. hear him sing through the morning fog And it makes me think It makes me think
I can’t stop the storm storming
But I could sing through the rain
I can’t stop the storm storming
But I could sing— through the rain
Yeah, I’ll be OK.
